New York
So the Albany Doiocese's Priests' Retreat is all but over. I have been overwhelmed by the commaraderie and unity in diversity that this diocese posesses. This is a special place.
I've uploaded sme more photos which should be available through this blog.

The Future of Evangelicalism
I've just had the priviledge to hear John "The Ugley Vicar" Richardson give three talks on the nature and future of evangelicalism.
The talks were very enlightening and thought provoking and I feel blessed if a little tired to have heard what John had to say. He is clearly a very bright man who is passionate about the state of Christ's church, concerned about the mess it finds itself in and is actually engaged in repairing the damage done in the past and preventing futher misunderstanding, drift and fracture in the future.
Please read the third of his talks, The Future of Evangelicalism, here:

What happens when Christianity adopts pagan mysticism as a route to God?
Check out these two recent articles about pagan rituals and Christianty. I'm pretty sure that ecstatic states, whether induced by drugs or the natural release of endophines, can facilitate the gaining of insight and persepective of one's own emotions and even natural relationships but nothing must be allowed to obscure the knowledge of God and His relationship with man as revealed in the pages of scripture.
